Blown glass bottle
Rose-colored glass with small body and neck and a convex bottom.

Small glass vessels were frequently used as perfume containers. Artisans quickly discovered that manipulation of the partially inflated gob of glass during the blowing process could produce a range of striking effects. One such effect is color banding, which gives the surface of the vessel a marbled appearance.
